In Business Features Christine Ehrich’s Success in Streamlining Autism Evaluations

With a proven track record of bringing innovative concepts and businesses to fruition, In Business recently profiled Axis for Autism Founder and CEO Christine Ehrich and how she is revolutionizing the autism evaluation process in Arizona.

After learning a shortage of psychologists results in many Arizona families waiting a year or longer for an autism diagnosis, Christine applied her 20 years of experience in healthcare and network building by launching Axis for Autism.

In the last two years, Axis for Autism has cut wait times down to less than 60 days by removing much of psychologists’ contracting, credentialing and administrative workload, as well as leveraging technology and processes radiologists have used for years to help them complete diagnostic reports much faster.

Christine’s efforts likewise make the evaluation process easier on patients and their families. Instead of coming in for three visits, patients come in once for testing and results are delivered via a telehealth appointment. Having psychologists and clinicians who speak Spanish, Arabic and other languages also helps patients feel more comfortable and get more out of the evaluation.

Thanks to Christine and Axis for Autism, patients receive answers and access life-changing autism intervention and therapies much sooner.
