Axis for Autism’s New Gilbert Clinic Featured in the Gilbert Independent
Furthering Axis for Autism’s mission to provide children and families across the state with life-changing evaluations and therapies sooner, the Gilbert Independent recently shared news about Axis for Autism’s new Gilbert clinic located near Baseline and Lindsay Roads. The article made more local residents aware that Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy and timely autism diagnostic services are now easily available right in their community.
Driven by a pressing need to provide continuous therapies post-diagnosis, Jessica Reese, BCBA and Vice President of Clinical Services at Axis, explained to the Gilbert Independent that the significant challenges families encounter when seeking access to these essential services — with many of them waiting more than a year for answers due to accessibility and cost barriers — influenced Axis’ decision to open more clinics statewide.
Jessica also highlighted Axis’ ABA therapy services, which take a highly personalized approach to help individuals of all ages strengthen crucial skills and achieve developmental milestones. This is the second Axis clinic to offer both autism diagnoses and ABA therapy, resulting in patients receiving life-changing answers, as well as intervention and long-term therapies. Medicaid and insurance are accepted.
