Axis for Autism Recognized as One of Arizona’s Most Admired Companies of 2023

Despite fierce competition from triple the number of 2022 nominations, Az Business and BestCompaniesAZ recently honored Axis for Autism as one of Arizona’s 50 Most Admired Companies of the year. Selected from a diverse pool of companies, Axis for Autism stood out for its groundbreaking accomplishments in expanding access to autism evaluations and therapies statewide.

Axis for Autism will be featured in the September issue of Az Business magazine, as well as honored at the corresponding Most Admired Companies (MAC) Awards event on Oct. 5. Judged by a panel of human resources experts, Axis was selected based on five pillars: Leadership Excellence, Workplace Culture, Corporate and Social Responsibility, and Customer Opinion and Innovation.

Axis for Autism’s customer opinion and innovation were recognized as its streamlined autism diagnosis model has slashed exorbitant evaluation wait times for Arizona families, ensuring they can access life-changing autism interventions faster. More than 15,000 Arizona children are currently on a waitlist for an autism evaluation, often waiting more than a year for a diagnosis. Axis for Autism cuts the evaluation process to 60 days or less.

“It’s a huge honor to be recognized for such a prestigious award,” said Christine Ehrich, CEO & founder of Axis for Autism. “This could not have been possible without our wonderful team and large network of providers — we are compassionate, driven, fierce advocates for Arizona families that are on the autism journey.”

The Arizona MAC awards program is designed to recognize the contributions and impact of some of Arizona’s best employers in the state. This is the most comprehensive and prestigious award program in Arizona.
